GARRETT BROWN

President and Cybersecurity Evangelist Garrett Brown has spent over 20 years working in Information Technology, helping organizations leverage information systems to grow their businesses.

Garrett’s entrepreneurial spirit is coupled with a passion for solving the IT challenges faced by his clients. Garrett learned early on that technology was never a solution on its own but rather a powerful tool to help people and organizations achieve their goals. In his teens, Garrett assisted with his mother’s successful national IT training company learning the ropes of small business, the value of strong relationships, and the importance of a client-first approach to business. In March 2002, Garrett founded Mantra Computing with these basic principles, recognizing the critical need for high quality IT consulting and support services for small- and medium-sized businesses.

In 2018, seeing the growing need for quality cybersecurity and compliance solutions and the huge gap between available technologies and the support and know-how to effectively employ it, Garrett helped found Ihloom Cybersecurity. His understanding of small business and the critical importance of people to an organization were and still remain the principal drivers in the development of Ihloom’s cybersecurity solutions.

When not working or spending time with his amazing family, Garrett moonlights playing the drums in a cover band called the Passive Aggressives.
